๐Ÿšš Shipping Policy – SdRd App

1. Nature of Service

SdRd operates solely as a digital intermediary between customers, stores, and drivers.
The application does not own products and does not control pricing or quality. Its role is limited to organizing, receiving, and delivering orders.


2. Shipping & Delivery Process

  • Once an order is confirmed, it is sent to the store for preparation.
  • After preparation, the driver collects the order and delivers it to the customer’s specified location.
  • Customers can track order status via the app (preparing – ready – on the way – delivered).
  • Inโ€‘app chat is available for communication between all parties.

3. Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees are based on the actual distance between the store and the customer.
  • Prices start from 800 Baisa and may reach up to 2 OMR, depending on distance and order type.
  • Drivers receive 90% of the delivery fee, while SdRd retains 10% as an operational fee.
  • Additional charges apply if an incorrect location causes extra travel.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Accurately set the delivery location using the inโ€‘app map.
  • Provide clear delivery instructions and landmarks if needed.
  • Respond promptly to driver communications.
  • Pay the full order value (items + delivery) either in cash or via electronic payment.

5. Store Responsibilities

  • Prepare orders correctly and completely as entered in the app.
  • Adhere to estimated preparation times.
  • Ensure order accuracy before handing it to the driver.

6. Driver Responsibilities

  • Pick up only orders registered in the app.
  • Update order status accurately.
  • Deliver orders promptly and in proper condition.
  • Avoid unjustified delays.

7. Fake or Canceled Orders

If a customer refuses to pay or accept an order after preparation, SdRd reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or permanently ban the account
  • Require payment of outstanding amounts
  • Take legal action in case of repeated violations

8. Delivery Time

Delivery time depends on:

  • Store preparation speed
  • Distance to the delivery location
  • Traffic and weather conditions
    Estimated delivery times are provided but delays may occur beyond our control.

9. Heavy Shipping (Mishwar Section)

  • Large or heavy items are charged under the Mishwar system.
  • Base price starts at 1 OMR, increasing by 1 OMR per additional kilometer.
  • SdRd is not responsible for parcel contents; responsibility lies with the customer and driver.
